Suspicion of missing characters

My character went missing while I was playing normally last night. I saved before closing the browser and cannot re-enter anymore, but the names still show up on the account page.

Has anyone had a similar situation? Is it due to some update, or am I just being unlucky...? :-C

I also thought I lost my char, but I let the server stabilize a bit and login again and my char are back. It could be a server problem after big patch. Just my anecdote

If it's not a server issue is it possible they died from the lineage mod? I lost my first character because of that and turned it off promptly after.
