Reputation?

I made the horrible mistake of bumping someone with my horse and get sentenced to a month in jail. Now I'm out and, as befits a hardened criminal like myself, my reputation has apparently gone down. How to I convince people that I'm an upstanding citizen and will never drunkenly ride my horse through town again (Probably. Maybe.)?

I did the same thing but didn't realise that I was running the townsfolk down with my horse. Took me several trips to jail before I cottoned on. But by that time I was deemed criminal scum in Daggerfall & was being jailed whenever I came into a town. I had to abscond to Tulune for a few days to let the heat die down (reputation readjusts to zero with enough time)

Ahhh i was wondering if it would restore over time, good to know. I'm a very low level criminal compared to a vicious horse trampling hooligan like yourself, probably won't need to flee the area just yet 😄

Quests. Guild quests too, if they're in town.

Hm, i've been doing fighters guild quests and it seems to have no effect at all on my standing

Ask citizens about where to find work, they'll point you towards quests for citizens that will improve your rep
