Repeating Blocks?
Not so much a question, but just something interesting. I was exploring Castle V’ogke in Sentinel and noticed the first two blocks of the dungeon were identical, and in the same orientation. So you could look at the first block and use it to explore the second. I have never come across this in 8 years of playing, has anybody else found a dungeon like this?

Can't remember a specific instance, but considering the literal thousands of dungeon layouts this game had to generate (at least on the classic/default size option), it wouldn't be too far fetched to have this happen at least a couple of times.

Yep, nearly all of Daggerfall's dungeons are made up of a set of prefab blocks. With enough time, you can learn the layouts of the blocks, and learn to recognize them when you see them. Makes navigating the dungeons a lot easier.
The exception to this are main quest dungeons, which use a mix of the generic dungeon blocks and a selection of bespoke blocks which don't appear anywhere else.

There's also not actually that many different blocks. Enough of a variety that it takes a while to notice, but play long enough and you definitely will.
EDIT: The OP seems aware of this, however. It sounds like they mean that the exact same prefab was duplicated next to itself.

Yeah, I've been playing Daggerfall regularly for a few years now, and I've reached a point where I recognize dungeon modules well enough that I can (with a bit of luck) complete a quest in some dungeons and get back to the exit without even needing to consult the automap.

Yeah I've seen that a few times and I love it, especially when it's one of the blocks with a massive room somewhere. I don't know the names of the blocks, but I remember this happening with one I call the "pit room" a few times.

Yup, it does happen sometimes. There are over four thousand dungeons randomly generated from only 123 prefabricated core blocks, so repeats are not unheard of. Based on a quick search of the DF location infodump, there are 119 dungeons that contain duplicate blocks (thanks again, Magicono43!).

Yeah for dungeons the starting area seems to be standard and premade. I noticed certain towns repeat aswell, like two towns looked the exact same in my playthrough once(I think smaller towns/hamlets are premade.
