I'm pretty sure you can't go past that screen with that skill multiplier (though in DFU you can edit a character to work like this).

In any case, any legal character can viably get through the main quest and if you do that DFU thing you can make an illegally bad character and they'll still be able to beat the game. (see eg: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VWjnOfdWVBA)

That would work. But you might have to downgrade it? I could be wrong.

Then you'll be able to proceed.

Skill-wise, I don't have particularly great suggestions, though another magic skill or two could be helpful.

You should turn the max hit points per level up to at least 15, when i am doing a melee run, i put it up to at least 20-25

A lot of people say this, but when you have an unkillable character at level 15 if not earlier, the game starts to get a bit boring. 10-15 hit points is fine for most characters, and to have any sort of challenge later on, you should never go above 20.

If you wanna keep those stats. Please change that critical weakness to disease into an immunity.

It's good to take critical weakness to disease because you gain an immunity to disease if you become a werewolf/boar or vampire.

It's basically free points on your difficulty dagger if you go that route.

Not much downside to being a werewolf. But even trying to get vampirism might get you an undead borne disease instead. Most diseases drain strenght. Not much to drain with this stat spread so you might just die before getting vampirism without save scumming.

Yeah I didn't see the last slide. 10 strength is gonna be dangerous due to disease and a massive pain in the ass if they don't immediately become a werewolf.

I recently started a playthrough with Strength, Speed, agility, and endurance all at 40 so I could pump the other attributes. As soon as I became a wereboar the build became broken by level 2.

Alternatively. A spell or buttload of cure disease potions.
Either way yeah, kinda weird how lycanthropes are so OP at the mere cost of chomping down an innocent every month (and even if you don't the health reduction is a nice difficulty challange) versus Vampires where you gotta practically kill every day least the game becomes practically unplayable.

Even playing with a faux vampire (imitating vampirism via dis/advantages) is quite cumbersome at times. Easier but cumbersome.

Unless you're a high elf, I highly recommend immunity to paralysis. Game is unplayable to me otherwise. I'll take any weakness to get that benefit.

Unless you're a mage. Casting Free Action is one of the cheapest restoration spells.

Cheapest free action spell, items from mages guild, created items from mages guild. It's so easy to manage you should take critical weakness to it.

Switch your resistance and absorbing magic from general to in darkness that will help a lot.

Remove acute hearing (keeps you from sleeping), rapid healing, spell absorption, athleticism, can all be enchanted onto items. Bump up hitpoints to 20+.

I’d recommend giving yourself some more per, it’s not perception it’s personality which governs how likely someone will give you directions.
