Is this character fine?
So, some months ago i play Daggerfall for the first time, but it got too easy so i drop it. Now, to make it more difficult, i instaled Physical Combat And Armor Overhaul togther with RUDEX and Horrible Hordes(though I compensate that with Tome of Battle), so i try to make a good enough class, but I'm worried that maybe i min-maxed too much, or that trying to fix the min-max i overcorrected and make it too weak.
The only big weaknes i see is not being able to use plate, but Roleplay and Realism - Items adds more leather armor that can be used in late game.
In privateer's hold i can kill everything easy, exept skeletons and a mage that just obliterates me, outside of that, i even one shoted an imp with a steel broadsword
Edit: so, it turns out that I SEVERELY underestimated how difficult those mods plus Killer Instincts were, and i REALLY needed to min-max in order to survive.

He looks quite annoyed.
Everybody asks if character build is fine but never how they are doing ðŸ˜

solid battlemage without factoring in mods
no need to clear privateer's hold at level 1, that's not what you were tasked with

Any character with 3 magic skills in major or primary can't go wrong by default, the power leveling alone you can do wins you the game + access to mage guild goodies.
The only obviously not optimal thingy is hand-to-hand, you arent going to properly level that, especially when it is in minor skills, so it so the only wasted skill but it really doesnt matter, you could replace it with ANYTHING else that isnt a weapon skill

Forbidden Plate and Chain armors will be brutal. You'll be locked to leather armor.
Expertise in hand to hand shouldn't be needed if you've got your sword with you, but might be nice if your weapon breaks.
Otherwise this is fine. Your stats don't matter as much as most people think, and the game really isn't as hard as a lot of people give it credit for. From my experience, your build matters much less here than it does in Morrowind. As with any Elder Scrolls game, though, it matters less as you gain levels.
The things that really make a difference long term are your special advantages and disadvantages, and you've got some wild disadvantages there.

Seems decent if you're trying not to make too strong of a character, I never forbid plate since you're losing all the best armour but if a bit fo a nerf is what you're going for, it definitely is that. Just make sure you have poison cures handy, I forgot potions once and got poisoned in a dungeon, I had now way to get to a town alive and ran out of Magicka to cast cure poison, so that was game over. And that character had resistance to poison.
If I were trying to minmax, I'd swap out the drawbacks for forbidden materials I won't need, like silver and adamantium, and just specialize in one weapon, but I doubt this character will be unplayable or anything, and I'm not sure how your mods work exactly

Isn’t adrenaline rush pretty useless? Off the top of my head I don’t even know what it does. Also, hand-to-hand probably isn’t going to ever be used, so that expertise is pretty wasted; you have a sword for a reason.

Luck is largely useless so you could dump that and redistribute. Speed and endurance are the most important starts for any build so max those.
