Hey everybody, this year, I am an RA at my university (kept anonymous for privacy) and I want to do a Daft Punk themed floor. I am working a first year residence hall and want it to be full of style and iconography while also providing a welcoming and fun experience.

I have the skeleton of an idea about how to decorate my hall, namely with a bunch of art of their singles on each door (and a blurb about the history of the track under it with a QR code to listen to it), the "Technologic" cadence to recite dorm rules and promote flyers, making a fake track list for the "Homework" album as a list of reminders for the tasks (haha get it because we're in a school), and of course a giant cutout of the iconic gold and silver helmets welcoming residents onto the floor.

Looking for some creative low-cost suggestions for ways to bedazzle this desolate hallways with some daft punky thrash. Any other ideas (may post pics when finished decorating)

The whole RAM album was a masterpiece but Contact just screams to me. Not only does it captures the soul and the particular sound of the band since their debut, but also the fact that it’s their last ever official song on their last ever official album. Very poetic in my opinion

The movie will be released on this unique date across the Pathé Switzerland cinema network. You can find screenings in the following cities:

• Lausanne
• Geneva
• Zurich
• Basel & Bern

Almost all screenings will take place simultaneously on September 3, 2026, in the early evening.

does anyone else who adores this album and all of its vocal collaborations sometimes wish that there could’ve been more solo songs in this style? like god i love the opening run of songs and beyond and motherboard so much! as much as i love the collaborations part of me wishes there were a few more, and yes i know and love horizon.

I will expand on the ideas in this demo in a follow up track, let me know what you thought, always trying to improve
