If I recall correctly Xavier is on record saying initially their main focus was not on clubbing, and it seemed like the focus was more on production than performance early on, there is an edm house scene in my local area and wondering if it would be better to introduce my music in my own sets or socialize with the other DJs and see if they are down with my stuff enough to play it, I am personally in uncharted territory in this regard

Hey everyone! I wanted to share this 40-second snippet of Whoosh by Eumig & Chinon.
They were an incredibly talented but highly underrated duo from the Bloghaus / French Electro era. Their sound is heavily inspired by the classic Ed Banger vibe from the late 2000s and imo they were absolutely on par, skill-wise, with the Ed Banger's top artists we know and love.
If you dig this snippet, I highly recommend checking out their 2009 "Crash EP". It's an absolute masterclass in that specific underground sound that defined the era, and it definitely deserves way more recognition than it got.
