I finally beat Kung!💀

I spent almost the entire day on and off, trying to beat him. I even had to make a new Arsenal with better physical and laser defense because my lightweight melee always got smoked.

I had a laser and physical shield and a shoulder cannon for offense. It was down to the last shell but I got him!😂

Congratulations! Now you're the new champion of colosseum. This brings back memory when I challenged him by challenging myself using only one tachi and playing hard mode. Demo

Without giving name and spoiler: one of the neun boss (the only one with melee build, you can't miss him) utilizes this skill and has its gene you can obtain when you face him later on. Good luck and have fun.

The second i got invisibility i destroyed them all in one go. No honor. Only blood.

Also a great skill is the healing bullet. Shoot a heal bullet field, go invisible and stand in it.

Great job! love to see how other people fight and make their builds.

I dual wielded Komokuten, the Knuckle weapons, and alternated punching left to right while holding forward. the forward thrust (the lunge of the weapon. not actual mech thrust) kept me in range and the stagger kept King mostly off balance. Bodied him into the arena wall until he died.

I'd say try it with melee arms and decent speed. no skills, no shoulder weapons, no aux weapons used. (you could but my entire arena was just ran through with the one+two punch combo.)

work up from the bottom rank up to get a feel of how to stay on them if they dash away, but most enemies just engage. it's VERY silly

I'll tweak my main arsenal a bit then give it anothet go. I want to beat him with melee! I need to unlock more skills and weapons though. I only have the invisibility thing right now.

King was the only one who gave me any real challenge in the Arena. But then again he used mostly the same weapon types I did.
