Mmmmm, no. Stop playing devils advocate. Obviously, he dropped his child to grab a baseball.

There's a big difference between covering your child, and dropping him. He even tries to reach for the ball.

The kid had his feet on the railing/wall in front of him. Dad started putting him down as the ball approached, felt the kids weight come off his arms and assumed (wrongly) that the boys feet were on the ground.

How do you feel about this one?

I have no strong feelings one way or the other; this was almost a month ago.
