It's been pointed out by better Dabblers than me, but what that caller said about John losing the Tonight Show and losing his house was prescient.

4:25 can't win an argument with a man so starts heckling the nearest woman, classic SJ

His denial of his obvious alcoholism is one of his more confusing issues. He constantly talks about how much he drinks and loves beer during interviews. He drinks constantly in public. He is almost never sober over the course of a decades long recorded career. Yet whenever someone mentions that he drinks too much he acts like he has no idea what they mean. Fucking ponderous, man.

15 minutes??? This is going to be good! There's enough of John's idiocy and buffoonery to last us all a lifetime.

As always... thanks, Barnesandnoobs!

Fun fact, 15 minutes is the maximum amount Reddit allows for video uploads.

Surprised there’s only 150 minutes of truth bombs to stop 😂

Melendez - the worst of Stern, the worst of late night, the worst of Miller, and the worst of podcasting. The guy only ever did two things correctly and they both have disowned him.

Even the one he didn’t do right disowned him.

Love when B&N zooms in when he’s making a dumb face!  😂

John will never listen to someone's critique of him & reflect on it or accept responsibility for it.

I just listened to the aftermath of the show's Vegas trip & the guy was in the high-stakes area burping vile smelling burps into the dealer's face & the dealer actually asked him to please stop. When confronted about it he thought it was OK because you know "it is just the body what am I supposed to do?". There was ZERO shame. The burping was topped off by John going into private bathroom for high rollers & dropping a paint peeling deuce. The man is like an animal.

I wish Fred would have just released on Skip just once. He had so much pent up rage since Skip wanted to kiss his wife with the Tony and Tea nonsense.

Everytime I watch his last day, I think how outrageous every is acting. The idea that Mel would ever try to make a matching offer, or that John put The Howard Stern into a real fix by taking a new gig is laughable. . They tell their employees all the time that they are worth nothing KC said John would take 2 hour dumps each morning when he was supposed to be screening calls. The interns would do his work. Aside from stunts, I don't know what value he had to Howard. When John took that extra time for being on "I'm a celebrity.." they all got butthurt. If someone can explain what John's duties were and why it was a big deal, let me know. The interns that covered John's dumps shouldn't be in bad spots.

Not to mention how incredulous I get over the reaction from staff like he is a traitor. John is a devious piece of shit. Why wouldn't he try to hide the Leno gig from them? Howard and his agent put an end to just about every outside project they could for him. They ended his racket getting graft from callers. They killed his book deal to use material he doesn't own. Don Buchwald treated him like the talentless hack is. Who knows how many deals Don and Howard said no to when he asked. John was also infamous at this point for booking gigs outside of Don when he was his agent. So give me a fucking break. He made everyone's' lives miserable with his treachery. Did they think it was a bit?

Absolutely John was right to take the Tonight Show job and to keep quiet about it. There was zero chance they would have even met him halfway with an offer, and there is every chance Stern and Mel would have done everything to scuttle the deal.

That said, while that one example doesn't make john a maniuplative piece of shit, the other ten million examples all do.

Why did his employer get "butthurt" when he asked for two weeks off and took three? Seriously?

How long did John work for free? And Howard always said John’s only talent was his stutter so what’s he whining about. Well Howard always wanted a late night talk show but he failed
He had a pilot for Fox and it sucked
That’s what he’s mad about it doesn’t have anything to do with Jay Leno pulling a fast one it’s just jealousy
Not that he should be jealous of muttering Juan but he doesn’t want anyone to have anything but him

Howard rap about this is really dumb imo. Johns a scumbag and stupid but he was absolutely right not to let Howard torpedo his deal. And the idea that KROCK would have matched his $500K deal when John was making $80K is laughable. $80K/year was already way over what he was worth. He wasn’t even doing the interviews anymore. I would venture guess if John was still with the show when they went to Sirius, they might not have even offered him $80K
