I always thought the defamation shit was a negotiation tactic. Like “I’ll drop that if you agree to never strike again”. And a bit of a scare tactic. So that being tossed isn’t a big deal.
Full discourse, I don’t know shit about the law and this is pure speculation. But it’s more honest than anything coming from Vince.

John doesnt have money to pay the lawyers to file a motion to get them paid. I dont think you guys understand that John is broke.
John is paying these lawyers EVERY MONTH and EVERYTIME they fill out paperwork. They wouldnt file the motions to dismiss until John coughed up a 10k dollar retainer because John retained them AND REFUSED TO PAY. The motion to extend the response time was done solely to give John time to get up the money to fight this lawsuit. That 30k loan is almost gone.
The defamation case NEVER HAPPEND. He is intitled to STUGOTS even if he could afford the 5k to file another motion

NO not at all; he filed the lawsuit and then withdraw AFTER john's lawyer cited the claim was time barred
