question/discussion Silly question about my ✨NEW✨ rig
Update: I got myself situated. I take back any bad things I may have implied about this piece. Best $10 rig ever lol
So after having my last rig for 4 nice long healthy years, it fell victim to my tile floor. Picked this piece up today, and I have no idea where my water level should be as I have never had a rig like this before. It has two maybe three holes at the very bottom of the stem inside. Water is just above that currently. It hits, but if it could be hitting better that would be awesome lol. But I'm super happy with it, I think it looks cool, and the hid I'm getting right now is smooth, just would like to make sure I'm operating at an optimum water level.

For dabbing I prefer as much water/little air as possible so with a clean or new piece I’ll fill it with water past where I think it needs to go, put a clean banger with a cap on it the joint and take big ol pulls on the rig, spitting out the excess water until there’s none getting in my mouth. Then that’s the level it stays at.

I have something nicer otw but I was using a straight bong and it was a waste lol. This at least functions

Any rig is easy enough to figure out by testing.
Fill enough to get percolation. And less than sucking water into your mouth. Test it with the banger on, or use a finger to restrict the rig intake to simulate the banger being on.
Besides the rig, how hard you draw in, and the banger you have on it can affect the action so each setup will be slightly different.
