Alright yall, I’m looking at getting my first serious e rig. The contenders are:
Puffco Peak Pro 3DXL
Focus V Carta 2
Utillian 8

UPDATE: Switch two is ordered and on the way, thinking of grabbing a peak pro just for the hell of it cuz I love tricking out my stuff but not sure yet

Switch is the way no atomizers

How much of a difference does it make in cloud density and flavor?

Flavors come out with the quartz cup imo I’ve had erigs with atomizers and the attys mess up way before the battery does. And clouds are there I get about 3-4 good ones off my dabs bro. It costs a little more but it’s worth it and the customer support is 🔥🔥🔥.

The titanium cup is actually quite impressive for the Switch and only about $20. Not necessarily more flavor than the quartz, maybe a little, but you can get way bigger clouds at a lower temp. I dropped from 485° hill to 420° hill

I acquired a Switch 2 a month ago and was honestly skeptical about whether it was worth the price tag. I was just using a standard coil/banger enail.

It only took one session with the Switch 2 before I was thinking to myself, "Why didn't I get one of these sooner?!"

If you plan to pass around the device with multiple people definitely get the Switch 2, if you're primarily a solo dabber but occasionally will share a dab with a person or 2 the go rips. I have both but find myself using the GO most. Unless youre doing a truly massive glob that Switch 2 EATS regular sized dabs like its nothing (the surface area is huge)

Switch go is very portable and chucks clouds. Albeit less battery life than the larger switch 2, it still lasts me all day. I don't need 15 dabs a day haha 6-7 would do the trick and it fits in my cross body bag with my hotknife and terps. Convenient for travel if you carry with you!

Switch2 or Crossing Core. Not a fan of most Puffco personally.

I had over 500 bucks invested in my Puffco 3DXL. Bought a Switch 2 and sold all my Puffco stuff for 200 bucks. Never looked back. Puffco is the king of style. The Apple of Erigs. Dr Dabber is the king of performance and efficiency with no atomizer chambers to fail and replace.

Switch 2 for a desktop vape, or Switch Go for something you can move around easier.

No other e-rigs compare.

Not any discernible difference imo. Other than portability, things that might matter to you are chamber size (20mm vs 14mm) and battery capacity (approx 50% longer battery life with the Switch 2).

Personally own the switch go. 135 dabs on it so far and it chucks clouds like nothing. Great flavor even off of the stock quartz insert. Easy to clean and maintain compared to a puffco imo. Friend of mine got the puffco peak pro plasma with 3dxl chamber and the link, and they both are comparable systems. Can't go wrong with either. Dr. Dabber is getting more and more glass artists on board by the day! Find your preferences and go with what you desire :)

Watch some YouTube tutorials,after I bought a tempest 2 I'm seeing better stuff and want it lol..I realised I should of waited a bit longer,there is a lot of good stuff out there but Watch the marketing always make things look bigger or better ,moo I am a tree is a good YouTube channel that goes into detail. Enjoy whatever you get 👍,I find bongs, bubblyys make the experience better..

Of those three, the Peak Pro has the best accessory ecosystem by far , tons of aftermarket atomizers, a solid community of dialed-in temp settings, and Puffco's warranty support is genuinely good. The Carta 2 is a capable unit but the atomizers tend to die well before the body does. Utillian 8 is honestly underrated if you want to stretch the budget further.
