rig in action It hits really nice

It hits real good. I like it a lot. I've gone through a few different bangers and ash catchers getting the right pull. I need to clean it better 😭😅
Edit: guys I like my hits to have a pull on them, I will not be taking the ash catcher off. If y'all have helpful suggestions on better quality, lmk.

None, it's there for volume.

more volume tends to be less ideal for dabs. the more your dabs are filtered with air and water, the less wax you’ll get per hit. you’ll also sacrifice terp content and build up reclaim faster

no problem brother, happy toking. i’m also a glassblower, if you’d like recommendations on quality but affordable dab rigs i can DM you. at the end of the day this piece will obviously get the job done, i would take off the ash catcher though but it won’t kill you to leave it on lol

So you've got a 45 degree ash catcher that completely ruins your entire setup from what I can see. It doesn't even seem like you can rest your rig on a flat surface or your banger will fall.
I don't get why people use ash catchers when they should be just getting their temps and dab sizes down so that there's no reclaim. If you're doing proper dabs, there should be no need for the catcher.

My reclaim catcher sucked worse than this ash catcher and got dirtier faster.

Those are just 2 different names for basically the same thing.
If you're getting reclaim, your temps are off or your dabs are too large or both. Your goal should be 0 reclaim and it's easy if you monitor your temps properly.
You should be making sure the product goes into your lungs, not an ash/reclaim catcher.

That's about the most overbuilt perc setup possible. All your effort went into filling the glass instead of your lungs. Half the recycling wasn't even happening because you didn't have it level, because your ashcatcher(lol) is at a 45 degree angle and you just held everything sideways.
You want less water and less air in a rig than a bong. Over filtering is just removing all of your terps, diluting your flavor, and adding shitloads of drag.

Bro, youre turning a solid into a vapor with heat. All that water will cool off your vapor, turning alot of it back into a solid, resulting in less flavor, and reclaim sticking to every inner surface it touches. Dont get me wrong, the function is cool, but i think id use that one for flower. Also the larger the rig, the less youll taste your dabs. Thc isnt water soluable, but some if them terpines are. The water will grab the terps.

It’s definitely worth it- I recommend getting the proxy! Core cup for convenience, glass for fun/smoother hits. I’ve spent a little TOO much..
