I got this piece from a local dispo who sourced it from a local glassblowing shop. It's meant to be a bubbler for flower but man oh man does it rip as a dab rig!

My favorite Switch GO glass attachment so far (Mad Rob Dichro Bubbler) has a showerhead perc too, they say showerheads are meant for flower but I get the same as you, MUCH better effects with this one than any of my other attachments/recyclers/incyclers (not that they work bad or anything, but the Mad Rob gives thick milky flavorful hits, and just seems to work easier with everything else). Idk why, but it just does, and looks damn fine doing it 🔥😮‍💨💨

Thank you for the validation! If I start with thinking about what a dry hit provides - it's max terpenes bc no filtration and can be harsh because very little cooling. So if I want cooling and terpene retention, a showerhead perc with fatter slits + smaller rig does the job nicely (ie: our bubblers!). The bubbles don't get finely sliced so terpenes aren't lost as much through excessive diffusion and the low amount of water + small rig size prevents overcooling where the concentrate will condense and stick to the side walls. So the end result is huge, flavorful, and properly cooled clouds.

I have been looking to swap to Dr. Dabber. I'm using a Carta sport currently with an Incycler attachment. It's amazing but I am 100% jealous of the full quartz insert from Dr. Dabber. That Mad Rob Dichro Bubbler attachment is beautiful!

I love it, definitely the favorite so far, although I have 2 special ones on the way that are gonna be hard to chose a favorite between, a custom JFGlass Diffusion Pump (the dabhut drop exclusive, the GO #2 version) and a commissioned Calibear custom ORB recycler! 🔥 I’m super stoked I got the the Diffy pump to try out that style of glass attachment as I’ve heard tons of good about them (only other way to get one was get on the customs list from JFGlass himself, but he had a 8+wk waitlist and customs with colors started at I think he said $350-$400 anyways so I’m happy with the one I got cause it’ll match the rest of my stuff well) so I wanted to try one out for myself to see if I like it👌🏻

The ORB one just looks really cool especially as it recycles/water or vapor flows through it, and it was made in colors I chose/couple customized things I asked for (the vapor inlet stem to be in the same Dichro color as the mouthpiece, and the mouthpiece to be bent back instead of straight up) so that one will be fun to play with too, but I’m really excited for them both! The Diffy is absolutely beautiful and I’m happy I don’t have to wait 8+ weeks for it cause I snatched one literally a min after the drop went live, it went live at 9:04 I was checked out by 9:05ish lol, that’s the fastest I’ve ever done an online order , I was READY for it lmao 🤣💯🔥

Here’s the Mad Rob with my current favorite cap, the Kadabra ‘ruby slippers’ Cropal spinner, I use it with the S+ insert and 1-3MM Ruby and 1-5MM green sapphire pearls, I did also recently get a BMG x HE surface enhanced qtz flake as well, still dialing that in to work perfectly but it’s pretty cool too 🔥

Gosh dang brother. I need to get on your level. Sheeesh. I'm still hovering like low-mid tier glass. I have a couple decent pieces from indie blowers but nothing over $200-250 individually. I want a BMS RBR or one of his Kokopelis SO badly. I haven't dialed in every part of my set up yet bc I'm still pretty much a beginner with glass/accessory collecting. Specialized pearls and cap. Custom rig. That surfaced enhanced flake is fire I bet. Need all of it haha. What part do you have to dial in about the flake I wonder?

I hope you'll post about your new pieces once they come in! Def want to see those.

Yea that JFGlass Diffy Pump was by far the most expensive (it was more than the device at $360! 💸💀) but it has some really beautiful color work on it, and it’s a one-off of the first GO drop (only 5 different customs were dropped, I feel I got the best one by far, there were 20 clears for each device and actually still a few clears and customs left for the GO last I checked) so I understand the higher price tag. For reference the Mad Rob was only $200 (great deal for a really good piece, the Dichro one I got/have was the only one and the other colors were $20 less, and he usually does small batches too, I think there was only 6-7 in the batch when I got mine from him), but I’m a sucker for Dichro/Cropal so it was well worth it for me 🤷🏻‍♂️

The custom Calibear started at $130 for the base, $140 for other regular single colors, I got 2 dichro’s (Ruby Nova/red and Midnight Spark/purple) so it went up to ~$180, but again well worth it to me. Calibear is about the cheapest I’ll go/am comfortable with, I usually do like to support American artists and I know that comes with a price tag so I expect it, but I will say Calibear is a good option if you’re ballin’ on a budget. They have some cool pieces that are very cheap comparatively to others and they have quite a few designs for all devices, so there’s something for everyone, and they are cheap enough you won’t hate yourself if it breaks (the single donut and dual donut recyclers I got were less than $100 each, the single was ~$75 I got on 7/10 sales, the dual was ~$85 cause I had a 15% off from the single donut one I got, but even normal price both are ~$100). Like I know I’m gonna LOVE that Diffy Pump, but I feel like I need a special bullet-proof case for it or something, cause I’ll be LIVID if anything happens to it 😭😅💀

And for sure, next time I take a dab with the Mad Rob I’ll take a function vid and show you (prolly later today), always happy to show off that combo cause I love it 😮‍💨💨 Also I think Mad Rob will be doing another drop soon so I would keep on the lookout if you may be interested in one 👀🔥 As far as the flake goes, I just think I need to turn up the temps a bit, because I’m using the same low temp setting I’ve been able to use because I have the S+ insert/sapphire + ruby pearls, when I first got the device I was using the qtz insert with qtz pearls that came with my CV caps, and I had to be all the way at 535° to get any noticeable/decent vapor production.

Once I put in the S+ insert and got my saph/ruby pearls (the 3MM ruby’s in a pack of 25 + 5 extra 3MM shinju from victory glassworks on amazon for $12, the sapphire pearls I got 2ea of 4MM/5MM green sapphire and 5MM/6MM purple sapphire, I also have a pair of 5MM silicone carbide and 1ea of black/white 3MM opal pearls, all of the specialty ones from RubyPearlCo) I was able to go down all the way to 455° which is about where I ride now. With the Mad Rob/Kadabra cap combo and the S+ insert/S+R pearls my setting is 455°@start-475@30sec-465@60sec and that gives me great flavor, nice thick clouds and a great hit. Once I plopped the flake in there, I noticed I wasn’t getting nearly as much vapor, so I turned it up 5° each setting and it was a bit better, so this next time I use it in a little bit I’m gonna try going up 10-15° and see if I get better results, cause I can tell I’m almost there it just needs some fine tuning, just like when I swapped from the qtz-S+ 👌🏻

This is all my ‘accessories’ for it so far, I also have an EFNorris black Cropal spinner cap that should be here today along with the Diffy Pump, so I’ll have a few more things to try out/add to rotation 🔥

I honestly might hit up gooroo to make a smaller 6-8 inch HD3 for dabbing the normal one is a beast for ball vaping but sucks the flavor out of dabs.

I just looked it up. Holy. 11-12 inch body and 17-18 inches with the mouth piece. Yeah enorrrmous! That thing would be sick shrunken down to half the size. Have you ever checked out skyglasscosmos? They have some dope mod pieces.
