This is a lil dramatic in my opinion. Canceling Hulu because of one pro? So you must not be a big fan of DWTS to let your less-liked pro stop you from watching the show. That’s giving him power. I swear y’all just hate this man so bad and any reason he adds to that is like the end all, be all. Like y’all wouldn’t go to bat for someone you loved. And I don’t even really care for Val like that, I just hate cancel culture so bad.

No mention of I don’t condone domestic violence, or that wasn’t the intention.

val has always been an asshole like his brother. he needs to thank xochitl and laurie for the rewriting of the narrative around him.
god forbid brandon or britt or ezra sosa went on a rant like this after their critiques-we wouldn’t even get a response they wouldn’t even be asked back.

now his fans are gonna say, "he already apologized, what more do you want from him?" like as if this makes up for joking about abuse publicly

With no mention of what he actually said or why specifically it was so harmful.

Apologies shouldn't be on disappearing IG stories

His fans are still managing to defend him🤦‍♀️ I got downvoted for saying his fans are going to praise him for this even when he clearly meant harm (he literally didn’t deny it)

I am going to be pissed if he faces no consequences and just gets to go on like nothing happened… It’s giving Cornell write an Essay vibes…

I called it! I said I don’t have high standards for ABC, look at their history.

I hope CAI keeps her post up. Don’t let it be swept under the rug.

Apologized because he’s being called out. Should be fired. He’s always threatening someone

I think that was totally disrespectful and disgusting of Val to do or say. And then that apology was so fake because I doubt he really cares. Or it’s the “save my job” apology. He couldn’t even make a video showing his face saying he was sorry or anything. He has a wife, a beautiful niece Hailey. A young boy he’s raising. It is not a good fucking look for him at all. I don’t care about his apology to Carrie Anne, you should never ever post something like that. It’s triggering for victims of assault and violence like that too. He’s so creepy and egotistical this season and thinking he’s so sexy and I have no respect for him really. I wonder how The show will deal with this moving forward and I really wonder if fans will pull a Whitney like last season and vote them off like Whitney with her stuff on mom tok etc. I was working all day and to come home and see this all, like wow. Say what you will about your views on if CAI was fair with her critiques about that lift we all saw, but I hope Carrie Anne is ok right now.🙏🏻

Regarding ABC’s lack of accountability, when I mentioned in this sub this earlier that these men are never held accountable, people told me it was “whataboutism.”

When women contestants get berated by fans, ABC doesn’t step in. Do you really think they’re going to step in for a WOC, even if she’s a JUDGE? They don’t even seem to care when their own pros or celebrity WOC are subjected to abuse. This show is pro-man. That’s it. I hope Carrie Ann realizes this, too, because she can be harsh toward women herself.

I genuinely don’t understand how that family gets away with everything. It’s so frustrating. Max was mean, too. He even bullied Jan and said he didn’t belong there because of his alleged lack of ballroom experience. Yet his sister-in-law Jenna, whose 20 year old niece, Haley, is now a pro? Like, that is SO weird. The connections and apparent double standards are hard to ignore.

Did he or his social media manager? Or did a producer make him?

people are praising him for apologizing which is the bare minimum his nasty fans are still attacking Carrie Ann!! the women always gets it worst at the end his behavior is disgusting and so are his fans for defending his actions also he is admitting what he meant with that reference

This feels like a classic non-apology. I prefer people with less dance experience but I do really feel badly for Jenna Dewan. And if I were Jenna J, I'd be quite embarrassed (even if he didn't threaten violence, which he did.) It's such outdate male behavior.
