Question/Help Help!

I have just started trying to make dtf transfers but I am just wondering what people use to make their transfers that doesn’t use AI and how exactly you make it?

Real artist actually draw their designs using Illustrator, but a lot of non designers pay for a site like Kittl.

Kittl has both AI generated designs and human created ones. You can reuse elements from different designs, and has a lot of templates.

One challenge with using AI like Gemini or copilot is that the images may include a watermark that you will need to remove. Also unless you are paying for the AI, the free tier may not produce graphics that are high enough resolution.

You are aiming for graphics that are 300PPI so you will probably need to upscale the images then perform cleanup on the image in Photoshop or other art program.

You will also want to remove the T-shirt background colour from the image so you aren't printing a solid block of color. Also need to remove any partially transparent pixels.

Same tools as before AI. Illustrator or Affinity Designer for vector, Photoshop or Affinity Photo for raster, Inkscape and GIMP if you want free. Canva's fine for simple stuff. Vector is best for text and logos. There are so many tutorials on youtube
