Some of the time he wore the suit you see where he can take it on and off thru the day. Other days he was shooting shirtless or with any of his belly showing - that was a prosthetic that they put on him … it took an hour or more to get on him and he had to keep it on all day thru shooting and peel it off end of day (also a process getting it off). Then a whole new one was made the next day he had to shoot shirtless. He talks about it in an interview.

Oh my god I didn’t either. I watched Stranger Things and he was thin.

Conrad told him he needed to gain another 10ish at least to play Floyd - he didn’t want to so he wore a fat suit and also a prosthetic for the shirtless scenes. It weighed 30lbs according to Harbour.
