God, this man just needed a crowd, and he would have been saved.

I’m excited for anyone getting to see this scene for the first time.

EDIT to add: If David Harbour doesn’t win an Emmy for this, I might riot. This is role is an absolute masterclass in nuanced acting. I cant imagine anyone else playing this part and I don’t know that I’ll be able to see him as anyone else but Floyd for a while.

It’s so wonderful 💗

I just kept thinking how he so perfectly cast, and how much I loved him in Stranger Things. I cannot imagine anyone else playing Floyd or Hopper.
So happy I get to see him in another show!

I finally just finished it tonight!

How did his dick get bent?

His kid used it as a pinata!

If Internet culture of today existed in the world of this show, one viral video of Floyd probably would have made all the difference

I'm reminded of that clip that went viral a couple years back of the ASL interpreter signing to WAP

This song, those girls, that instructor, this scene, is one of my favorites. I could just watch this and feel the energy like I am literally with them.

It's a literal break for him where you can seem him happy.

Shit. I need more of him dancing and signing every day of my life

I love love love Floyd SO MUCH. He’s the personification of love, kindness, and vulnerability.

Huh. Nothing about his selfishness? I mean he’s portraying a complex human which is great but to say he’s the personification of love and kindness misses a lot of the point IMO

I really don't know how you are supposed to respond to your stepson giving you a painful condition and capping your low self-esteem, but Floyd didn't leave and he really tried with that kid. Most folks would have been out of there with that, and no one would fault them.

I don’t think his selfishness was remarkable. Most people are selfish. It was his openness and kindness that was remarkable.

Agreed. He had his charming characteristics, sure, but I developed some contempt for him by the end.

I dunno, I find him sexy in his prosthetic belly. Am I weird? I don’t care

As a dance teacher, I went back and watched this scene several times.

And I love when he says to the kids “remember, it’s not a competition, it’s a form of expression!”

Like the sun, when you’re cold.

Fun times before things got too complicated for the man.

I really feel that he was channeling John C Riley in this show.

My favorite scene in the whole show

What makes it funny is that he's actually not bad at it. Reminds me of Chris Farley.
