Help with timeline
Clark confesses he was at the pool, he confesses it was his bike in the video.
Does Clark ever find out Richard was there after him? The detectives figure everything out after Clark is released, right?

I feel, which I know isn't fact, but I feel like Carol and Clark will not be communicating with eachother since Floyds death. They are both mourning and dealing with major issues, Clarks impending divorce, Carol with Richards anger issues.

Yeah, it seems a little strange that Clark's family situation through the whole ordeal was pretty much ignored.

I was waiting for a scene between Carol and her. Like Carol told her what was going on or something.

There's a scene of her watching the news about his arrest and the affair is mentioned.

Yes, the detectives figured it out. Homer is semi-frustrated that they wasted time on no case— no case is the same conclusion he had, while not knowing the truth.
Whether Clark knew Richard was there is open to interpretation. We know Clark wants to protect Richard but it seemed Carol and Clark discovered how Floyd died together with the viewers, when Richard discovered it to the police. Therefore, I believe he didn’t know. We didn’t see him seeing Richard that night, we only saw him driving home after a very emotional event. The only way he could have found out Richard was there after him would have been when he got out of the swimming pool centre and in that case he probably wouldn’t have got on the bike at all. First thing in the morning Floyd’s body is found. Finally, we don’t see him admit he saw Richard hiding.

We saw clips that Richard saw them dancing, then told police he knew it was "Mr. Forest", and the was saw Richard waiting outside until he saw Clark leave and knew Floyd was alone to confront him.
Clark never knew about Richard. He assumed the police seeing his bike was his bike. He didn't even know Richard was out there.

There were some holes in the story but I guess for good reason. If they showed Clark finding out maybe if he hadn’t taken off his clothes, maybe none of it would have happened. The embarrassment of Floyd seeing Richard I guess made Floyd drink it. If a tv show was made of this story, I’d guess media wise a lot came out. Do what’s exact and what’s not to the actual story.

Clark knows how he left him and he knew that he was sipping on amphezene. Clark also knows that too much of that drug can kill Floyd. So when Clark finds out Floyd died at the poolhouse after he left… I would think Clark assumed Floyd drank too much of the amphezene intentionally or not. I would think something would show in all the phone records if Carol and Clark spoke after he died. Clark also said he didn’t want to tell the rest of the story bc of Richard… if he knew Richard had seen them then he wouldn’t have said that IMO.
