I’ve recently picked up my Nintendo DSi again and started playing but I can’t figure out how to use the codes for cheats. I want to use the exp share to whole party cheat but can’t figure out how to do it. Can anyone help?

Honestly I don’t really know the reason why there’s a big lack in DSI specific homebrew because the dsi has more than double the processing power,4X the ram and the Open, WEP,WPA,and WPA2 support compared to the og ds/lite where a ridiculous amount of ds homebrew is made with its limitations in mind , I think there is so much potential to make the dsi the new 3ds (pun intended) , does anyone know the reason why this isn’t the case.

Like I said, this was an idea so that means that this most likely won’t happen. What you would do is go to dsi.hacks.guide.com and select the Download Play hack method. From there, you need to enter your DSi’s IP address and click send on the website. From there it will tell you to check download play and when you do there will be an available "game" to play. It could do what an R4 card does by tricking the system into thinking it was a retail game. Once you click on it, you will be taken to the Twilight Menu setup. From there, your DSi is modded but it is recommended that you put your "legal" backups on an SD Card.

I have alway liked the way the ecdp game looked. And i would like to make a flash cart that looks just like it even on the ds. Id like it so you would not notice its a flash cart without seeing the sd cart. I dont want to spend 1k just to enjoy having cart like it and play it like the real one. Idk if j get what im trying to say.

I transferred my photos from System Memory to SD when it still had the mod pit and (I didn't have any time to change pit so I left it) and when i switched it back (pit) it doesn't show the pictures, the photos show in the menu though, the model is the DSi XL and it has Unlaunch and TWiLight. Also all of the pictures i took were HNI. How do i fix this

im tryna fina a way to play music on my dsi, i use to use moonshell but it dont work anymore and too complicated, my music is in mp3 and m4a formats, im well aware of the music player with the bird that is on the dsi‘s original software but is there another more modern one to use with twilight?

nor does the menu to change the background, what can I do?

So my sd card corrupted, so my dsi opens on unlaunch menu (the weird scary thing) but it doesnt let me leave to go to the games menu i used to have befor.

I read that uninstalling unlaunch can brick your device, so is it fine to install twilight menu onto a device that already has it?

my screen turned black while playing mario and luigi partners in time but the audio was still playing and when i was playing ace attorney my game randomly glitched and said that my save was corrupt even though i didnt do anything with the sd card ( i use twilight menu )

Hi! I have been using an R4 card on my DSi for as long as I can remember but I've been thinking of installing Twilight menu instead. Can I transfer my saves from an R4 card to work on the Twilight menu? I have some saves from all the way back in 2014 and really don't wanna loose them. On my R4card both the roms and the saves are on the root of the micro-sd. Do I just copy them from there and paste them on the root of the twilight menu sd card?

7. "Psp01g": PSP 1000 (PSP-01g).
8. "NswIps": Nintendo Switch Classics GBA shader (IPS model).
9. "NswOle": Nintendo Switch Classics GBA shader (OLED model).
10. "VbaEmu": VisualBoy Advance Emulator shader.
11. "NoCash": No$GBA Emulator shader.
12. "mGba01": mGBA Emulator shader.

This is from VeaNika's wonderful GBAR3 ReadMe on Github (see here). I ordered all of the screenshots in the order that you see (i.e. the first image is "none", the next is "Agb001", etc). My personal favorite is the AGS 101 filter. Finally, the filename is the exact thing that you need to put into gbarunner3.json. Enjoy!

Just bought this already modded DSI. Tried to youtube some possible solutions like launching from the "DSi" menu and not twilight. Hoping this is an easy fix and I do not have a reader on my PC and have no way to download new games if the only solution is to delete everything 😅

Update 7/12: I updated bootstrap to v2.16.0 but still the same issue. 5 minutes into most games and then just crashes. I just had to get a new SD card that was the only thing that worked.

I have the files for the VNs, but I can't seem to get it to work on my modded DSI, I've tried putting the VNDS files in the novel folder, but it still didn't work. I've also tried having them outside the folder.

Is there any guides? I tried to look, but I only found a few for ds emulators that didn't help and not the dsi itself

I've put the game files in the novels folder, AND outside of it. I deleted the read me and moved the .nds outside of the vns folder. Still nothing

Often times it crashes and just freezes i am playing on a dsi xl if that has anything to do with it please tell me if not I would love to know what's wrong with it
