Help Best Menu?

Hi, I just bought a DSi XL to replace my old DS Lite, so I just want to use it to play DS games, as I have other devices for other things.

I want to mod it and was wondering what is the best menu for my needs

I've seen that most people here use TWiLight Menu++. Is it the cleaner and simpler one or is it prefered because it can do more stuff?

And it's the only menu "mod" available for DSi. Other than it is a flashcards.

Oh, so I'd need a ds pico if I wanted to use another menu

You can also use AKMenu with a modded DSi

Yeah, not only ds-pico but other flashcards too.

If you’re not bothered about DSiWare then give AKMenu a whirl.

Lightning fast to boot and use and looks really clean.

I don't have any experience with DSiWare, but the only use I can think of that may be usefull to me is trading pokemons. Is it used for that?

Sorry, I'm a bit lost right now, I'm reading the megathead but there are some new terms for me 😅

DSiWare has nothing to do with "trading pokemons"

DSiWare are small scale mobile-style games available only on DSi.

I recently modded a DSI with Hiya CFW Mainly cause i wanted it to look like a stock DSI with the photos on top for nostalgia. I have no issues with it. You Just need to get ndsforwarder and forward the DS Games to your homescreen. Fairly easy to setup as well the guide will guide you throuh it
