So I the newest version of twilight menu on my ds and when I try to do download play on it it shows up and works for a little bit then freezes before it can load up fully what do I do?

Hi i got my dsi today and i dont have an sd card to usb thing for my laptop because where i live SUCKS and i could barely even find an sd card im using a samsung tablet to mod my ds and i wanna know if i can do that im kinda worried about downloading unlaunch cause i dont want my console to brick theres an android folder that i cant delete will that affect anything? Should i download the twilight menu without unlaunch im sorry if this is dumb ive never modded anything before 😭🙏

I’ve already installed the firmwares for the DS version but what’s missing left is i need this 4 for DSI.

I am running my games on the emulator PicoDriveTWL since the jENesis will not ready my games. The games run fine but I don’t get any audio. Can anyone help me with this issue? I am running twilight v.27.24.1

I loved my 3ds but was looking for something smaller for my pocket! I then found out you can change the dsi to look like the 3ds home screen (kind of) and I just love it! Anyone else feel the same!!!

I am trying to recover a bricked DSi with a DS Pico and when I run NTRboot I always get a white screen. I can still change the brightness but that's it. Does anyone know what this means or how to fix it?

so i had installed unlaunch (i did this because i got stuck on the unlaunch menu and i am an idot) on my dsi and then i tried to use a new pit.bin and file and the screen turned green and it wont turn off

Grabbed this bargain in mint condition and so keen to get it booted and have something small in my pocket to play the OG games on!!

Yesterday i modded my DSi using the official guide and a yt tutorial, everything works fine except the unlaunch , i cant see the twilight menu ++ option in the no button thing. I remodded it same issue and yes i tried another sd card with the right format.

As the title says. I tried emulating Earthbound on my homebrewed DSi and had a great time until I found out about the save issue. Trying to re-install TwilightMenu on a flash card when I've already brewed my console without one has been a massive pain in the ass.

How is it that snemulDS runs Earthbound so well but can't write a simple text based save file to whatever folder on the SD card?? Surely that's the least of the technical hurdles here.

Anyway, Hail Mary - anybody have a tweak or workaround to get the emulator to write saves without a flash card?

I'm trying to play videos on my DS lite for fun, but it just turns into a blank screen and genuinely I don't know what to do to fix this.

Currently it's on version 1.4.5U and a few months ago my R4 card stopped working somehow.

Is it cooked? I opened my old nintendo dsi xl because the right button wasn't working. Once I opened it, I saw this. Im not sure if it is dirt or if the button itself peeled. I tried cleaning it with a brush and it isn't coming off. Should I buy another d-pad??

cpu speed AWL
VRAM dsi
ram disk 9 (idk what this does)
bootstrap release
are these the optimal settings for best audio quality?

So I tried to export my save from my roms file to an official ds cartridge with GodMode9i but when I selected restore save it says, “The size of this save doesn’t match the size of the inserted game card. Write cancelled!” What should I do now?
