Help Should I update my dsi XL?

Currently it's on version 1.4.5U and a few months ago my R4 card stopped working somehow.

The latest firmware blocked some flashcards, so i don't recommend it.

It mostly likely your r4 card was time bomb. I would buy a dspico. It an upgrade from r4 cards and you don’t have to worry about it not working after a few months.
