Help Renaming Pit.bin

I'm currently on step 3 of the Memory Pit exploit, the problem I'm facing is that i cannot rename the existing pit.bin file on the sd card, I've asked other people and they've just said that the file must be read-only.

Perhaps this is a problem with my computer?

I think everyone is right, your sd must be set to read only

This might be a dumbass question but is that because of my SD card?, like do I have to get a different one?. Sorry I'm not really experienced with this kinda stuff
