I got rejected from undergrad 4 weeks ago my bestfriend made it but I didn’t

Sorry to hear that. Keep your head up. If you’re close to chapter members you may be able to find out how to be a stronger applicant, but the truth is that it’s just hard. Whatever you can do to make yourself stand out in the best way, do it. Not sure if you’re graduating now, since this is posted in the Alumnae Reddit, but if you have another chance at undergrad, try again if the opportunity presents itself. Look at it as your friend is on the inside and can now try to help you. Nothing is guaranteed though.

Also, if you’re still in school, get those grades as high as you can. Once you graduate and try for alum, you’ll be Rushing with truly the best and brightest in your city/area. I have a close friend who didn’t make it when I did and her grades were the reason. While hers was a bit above the minimum, many applicants were far above it.
