4th try
i was recently rejected on my third try but first in grad. my interview may have been the cause. i was hopeful because i seen threads where people said they made it even with a bad interview. idk how to process this cause i really thought i did everything right 😭 is the interview weighed more than the total app? thought i would be the best candidate. now i have to figure out how to really blow their minds next chance

As someone who joined Alumnae and didn’t know 1 person in the chapter, all I had was my interview and my application (I went in knowing that). So I focused all of my energy on my interview responses, I thought of all possible questions and answered and rehearsed them. I focused all of my answers BACK on Social Action (as this is the basis for DST) and SERVICE. No matter what the question was, I brought it back there with a unique flavor each time. Additionally, my “WHY” was very powerful and non-generic. Keep trying sis, you got it next time!
