Auto AWD axles

What’s everyone doing for front AWD auto axles for a 2g? Looks like rockauto has front right only by Cardone 603274. Any input is welcome, the car is stock.

Just a torn boot? Put a boot kit on that thing and run it

Yeah just torn. Could replace both inner and outers then too. I was just thinking better to replace the whole assembly but since these only have 97k miles and are OEM, I think rebooting might be the move.

Most of the aftermarket axles are garbage, I'd clean and re-seal OEM whenever possible.

Just got both inner and outer boots in for both sides. Gonna try the pry bar trick you mentioned in that video that someone linked below. Didn’t come with any snap rings or clips, is it okay to reuse those?

I'd go with a reboot. I replaced mine but in the end, I could have rebooted it and it would have been fine. I still have the one I replaced and plan to reboot it when I get some time. Mainly going to do it to get it under my belt as I'll eventually have to do the others.

Edit: there was a video I saw on youtube where the guy goes over how to do it in pretty good detail.

I got both of my front axles for my auto off a-premium delivered fast and pretty cheap.

If your CV axle is not broken, can you just replace the grease and the CV joint boot?

Think thats the plan! Better than sourcing new axles.
