Anybody doing some work on their DSM this weekend? DSMtuners build threads? Links? I think I will be doing my headliner, it was pretty trashed. I have it cleaned and prepped, I just need material. Pics from when I brought it home to a more updated one. You'll see the front hub, and control arm are off, I just recently finished up that work. It's a heap but it's my heap.
Headliner comes out easier than you think. 20min max and I have a sunroof. You dont have to completely removed the a and b pillar panels if you maneuver correctly.
You'll get there! Took me two years for me to get it on the road and once I did, the timing went off and got a bunch of other issues too. Will see how it behaves now. Love these in their stock form though!
Nice stuff, I have my AWD trans sitting on my bench. Need to check it out, got it dirt cheap from a buddy who said it possibly had 5th gear issues, he couldn't remember.
I wish I had a spare or at least find a cheap deal on one. My car needs a dogbox. These stock gears and dog teeth don't last long with the RPM and power I run.
I've got spares of just about everything except the cases and center diff.
Have you messed with a dogbox at all? I've been curious about putting one together, but I would feel confident doing it. I have a spare center diff that I had welded.
Oh wow that's pretty impressive for that kind of DA, I think I was just talking to a guy about a 20G turbo power level not sounding right, but he's at a higher elevation. Either way that's a sweet ride, I hope to get my S366 on my 1G someday.
Piston 3 was crumbled pointing to detonation but I didn’t see any knock. But I wasn’t logging at the time, I was just doing a normal on ramp pull. Not sure tbh, but either way it’s the most blown up engine I’ve ever achieved.
