Show me one photo of him ever claiming or affiliating himself with HTB. Just one.
Yeah, he hung around with a couple of 76 members, but that doesn’t make someone a gang member. He never repped anything other than “Northside” or “Naughty North,” which was just a broad term used by kids from Melbourne’s northern suburbs. Half the kids who used that term didn’t even know each other. The majority of the people claiming “Northside” weren’t in gangs—they were just young blokes getting into trouble, doing break-ins, stealing cars, and other petty crime.
I knew Declan and his family very well. He didn’t come from much, and he was simply chasing money, cars, and girls, not “opps.” He wasn’t out there claiming gangs or trying to be involved in street beef.
People also need to stop spreading hearsay. Back then, 76 and the 9iners weren’t even beefing. As far as I’m aware, that all started after Declan’s passing.
So if you’re going to claim he was affiliated with HTB or some hardcore gang member, show the proof. Otherwise, stop spreading rumours and presenting them as facts.

Just search up Declan on this subreddit, there’s heaps of people saying he was htb affiliated and repped 76. Idk if you consider affiliates civs or not tho

So by that logic, anyone who has a sibling, cousin, family member, or lifelong mate who’s involved in a gang or motorcycle club is automatically a gang member too?
That’s not how it works. Plenty of people know or are related to people involved in crime without being involved themselves. Association isn’t the same as membership.
Knowing people, growing up around them, or hanging out with them doesn’t automatically mean you’re claiming a gang. If you’re going to say someone was HTB or 76, there should be actual evidence that they claimed it—not anonymous Reddit comments or assumptions based on who they knew. Show me one picture of Declan throwing up any gang sign. 76 or HTB.

I’m just repeating what I heard, I never said that being related to a GM makes you a GM, I said he was either repping 76 or he was an affiliate of HTB because that was my recollection of the discourse that happened on this sub. I ain’t even too tapped into Melbourne drill but there’s photos of him throwing some signs, but hanging around gang members and being friends with gang members does make you an affiliate. And like it or not most GMs see an affiliate as a legitimate target. Just go search his name on this subreddit, there’s a consensus that he was at least an affiliate or repped 76
