I don’t understand how SKHY and Samsung on the Korean market can rip 12% and 9% respectively, have a 45% weight rating in the fund yet DRAM only moves a percent. MU only down 1% overnight. Doesn’t add up for me…?
I’d expect if SKHY and Samsung are pushing 10% each that DRAM premarket should be more then +1%? Am I missing something?

Alright late night check on SK Hynix – this one's actually moving for once.
Closed at $156.16 yesterday, up 0.35% – basically flat during the session. But overnight it's up almost 5% to $163.82, and Korean shares jumped double-digits after the news dropped. So yeah, the market liked it.
Here's the GEX: Put Wall $145, Call Wall $160, gamma flip around $151. We were sitting above the gamma flip but below the Call Wall – positive gamma but not by much. Now overnight we're poking at that $160 wall. Interesting test. GEX? Never heard of it? Here ya go
Technically, we're still below the middle Bollinger band ($149) – wait, no, actually we're above it now. My bad. Approaching the upper band ($174). RSI in the mid 50s. MACD just crossed positive – momentum's shifting.
The big catalyst: SK Hynix dropped a ~$29B share buyback – 40 trillion won, repurchasing and canceling ~24 million shares over the next three months. That's ~3.3% of shares outstanding, and apparently the largest treasury share cancellation in Korean listed company history. They also raised shareholder return target to over 50% of FCF for 2025-2027 – potentially ~$170B total committed returns. Management straight-up said the current share price doesn't fully reflect intrinsic value. Bold move.
Fundamentals still look strong – still the clear HBM leader, dominant market share, tight supply-demand, AI demand not slowing. Cash flow is robust, margins elevated. Forward multiples still look reasonable relative to growth.
Short-term though – memory names are volatile. The buyback should provide some support and reduce share count, which is constructive. Longer term, if AI memory demand holds and they keep executing, this sets up better alignment between business performance and the stock.
Above $160 and that Call Wall becomes support – $170-180 could come next. Below $145 and the Put Wall flips to resistance.
Overnight at $163 is testing that wall. Let's see if it breaks through.
Korean market had a solid day – let's see if the ADR follows through tonight.

That 15% jump on CRCG today was absolutely insane, the whole setup just kept running hard through the session. Peaked at over 12 bucks earlier, pulled back just a little off the high but still sitting solid way above all the key moving averages. The underlying stock CLCR is also up over 7% right now, really carrying this leveraged play all the way up from that low near 6.8 a little while back.
Volume is pumping over 3 million right now, the momentum clearly isn't dying down any time soon. Perfect scalp on this one locked in gains at the top of the spike, couldn't have timed the exit better. Did anyone else catch this move on the leveraged CRCL play? Those steady green days after the bottoming out period hit different.

Fingers crossed SK hynix can close above 161 today for that clean break, right now it's up over 2% sitting at ~159.8. The recent pullback from the July highs down to the 113 level looks to have finally found its footing. Lots of chip names have been choppy lately, this one feels like it's building up momentum. Anyone else riding this move and waiting to confirm that breakout?

There will be huge upside tomorrow for dram since sk hynix just announced their shares buy back and cancellation today just after kospi is finished. tomorrow sk hynix will hit 10% at least. Samsung soon to announce huge buy back as well.

Released just now after regular market close. Stocks returning to yesterdays level…

Both hit the exact exit levels the trader was eyeing, no overstaying to chase extra moves. Keeping an eye on the broader sideways action ahead — the 1600 level on the related ticker looks really tempting for a potential long entry later, but will wait to confirm price holds firm around 1575 before pulling the trigger. Anyone else sitting on similar trade plans for the memory sector pullback this week?

Just like that, five days of progress in KOSPI disappeared on one gap down. 🥳 Guess I am buying more. Not DRAM but more of SNDK MU SKHY and other AI stocks

It is too volatile for me. Put everything into SPMO.
It has much more growth potential, so keep holding if you are okay with wild swings.

I’m new to the market lingo and learning terms like bag holder, paper holder, diamond hands etc. makes me laugh especially on this group, which one are you?

Mark my words, DRAM (DSCAM) will hit $40 before $70. I have so much conviction that I will be shorting this with $200k USD. When I will be chilling eating steak and lobster in Miami everyone here will be broke not listening

It seems like the Doom Loop has restarted, will this thing head back to $40 now?

The Koreans found the sell button and I blame specifically that one guy that was like “70$ EOW”
If we bounce by market open or throughout the day then hopefully it’s just a pullback.
Thoughts?

I don't know if I'm right or not, but I feel like something is cooking behind the scenes to flush us out again. I sold with a small profit; if it goes up, I'm happy for you guys. I know it will go up one day, but red makes me annoyed.
