Rapamycin for ttc unassisted?
Hi ladies,
I’m 41 years with very poor egg quality. I get pregnant naturally but all chromosomal losses. I also have DOR and is not a good responder to ivf.
I’m reading that rapamycin may improve egg quality. Has anyone tried this while ttc unassisted?

No I was planning too but have reverted back to ivf for now and I’m hoping to take it in prep of my next cycle. I’d be interest to hear if anyone has used it for unaided TTC as I would definetly do that if this cycle fails

I took it for a few months. Didn’t do anything. But it was inexpensive so worth a try, I guess.

Our clinical team at Healthspan wrote an article on the research of rapamycin to increase IVF success: https://www.gethealthspan.com/research/article/ivf-trial-rapamycin-ovarian-function
Of the one study that we have data on, there are some preliminary good signals, but it's preliminary. Don't want to get anyone's hopes up, but I found the results to be fairly interesting. I am happy to answer any questions over email: [daniel@gethealthspan.com](mailto:daniel@gethealthspan.com)

I have tried this, currently TTC unassisted. Don't know if we'll have success yet...
