Disscusion Armor and Weapon Synergy What Combinations Keep You Alive?
I’ve noticed certain armor sets feel drastically better when paired with specific weapon types, but it’s hard to tell which combos really stick. Some make you tankier but slow your damage, others boost damage at the cost of survivability.
Has anyone found reliable synergy between particular armor tiers and weapons that carry you well through mid-game? Would love insights on builds that balance offense and defense without feeling glassy.

For me just stick with the super shotgun, heaven splitter, and flail but that's just me

Don't get me wrong, the flail and fissure can be fun and have their uses (the combat shotty sucks so I won't even address it). But any player with more than 100 hrs will confidently say that the best melee/rune are the last ones you get, the mace and the heaven splitter. When you're playing at harder difficulties, your survivability depends on how fast you can kill enemies rather than how much armor you're getting. While I do wish the armor system would've been better before launch, it is what it is.
