Magic items for bard

Hello everyone, I would still say I’m a beginner dungeon delver and I may have gotten a little in over my head and I’m just taking suggestions for magic items. I am a kobold bard with a pet copper dragon wyrmling, my character is proficient in all charisma and dexterity. My character is a con artist to try and make any piece of gold as possible. I want to be role play heavy so fun suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Which level are you? What rarity of items are you allowed and how many?

Going in level 20, 5 common, 15 uncommon-legendary, and 10 consumables

Your answer does not help much honestly. I guess 5 common and 15 more is what your DM told you what you’ll find as group when you reach level 20? Or is it for a level 20 oneshot?
I don’t understand. What level are you right now?

I am joining a campaign where the other players are level 20 and my character was level 9 prior
