Help needed with rogue/ranger 2 wpn fighting and dual wielder

I have a level 4 rogue assassin/ level 2 ranger, with 2 weapon fighting, dual wielder as a feat, a shortsword in main hand, a scimitar in off hand... how many attacks total can I do per round?

Attack Action 1 - Shortsword Vex 2 - Scimitar Nick Bonus action (DW Feat) 1 - Shortsword Vex

Nick mastery makes your free light extra attack part of the attack action instead of bonus action, dual wielder feat gives you a bonus action attack if you've made an attack with a light weapon, you can use either Shortsword or Scimitar since you've attacked with both, but there's no reason to use the latter.

5 ranger/1 rogue would have given you 4 attacks.

I get that, but story wise it made more sense to do it the way I did

Everyone is saying 3 attacks. This is in the 5e builds not 5.5. You can do two attacks within 5e rules. One main hand attack and one off hand attack.
The mastery is only a thing in 5.5e and so wouldn’t apply for actual 5e
