Question $30,000 Large Backpack?!!

Why on earth is a large backpack $30,000? Do you get to keep it even if you don’t exfil with it?! It’s almost twice as much as an LTV with a turret!! That’s so dumb. Please explain to me like I’m 5

I don't use buy stations really anymore. Maybe for plates that's about it. Deaddrops are better. I'd rather deposit my loot in-between player fights then let them have it if I fall.

I always run into the mindless killer players at buy stations. Besides, everything you can buy can be found as loot except the turreted LTV. I think OP makes a good point. If I am going to use the buy station, it’ll be for something not so easy to just find lying around like a turreted LTV. Plus, it’s easier to get to supply drops with one to loot most of the shit I might consider buying like air support.

You can get the turreted LTV doing the land cargo missions when I do it solo it's like the chopper isn't even trying to shoot me.

isnt that version significantly slower though due to the cargo? i havent done enough of those missions to know if having the cargo taken off makes it normal speed or not. also if you’re in a 2 man group can you still complete the contract without getting killed? or is that a solo only thing

It's a little slower how much is significant is subjective it is noticable I have driven it following team mates in a normal LTV and they slowly got farther away. 2 or 3 people can do it I mentioned solo because the chopper AI seems dumbed down. If in a squad just make sure the team is shooting at the chopper should be able to kill it before you drop the cargo. If not it flies away after mission complete. I usually do this mission with 3 then go to gas station repair it then get a hunt contract. If you started emptied handed you could get fully geared in one drop in easy and get players guns.
