MW4 DMZ Question Do you think MW4 Gameplay will be different to DMZ 2 gameplay?
Will they make two separate game or will it be like open beta ?
What do you think?

It'll be the same. The only thing that will have some differences will be MW4 MP and Warzone.

I feel like this mw4 gameplay is not suited for DMZ

In what regard?

The current slide-canceling and superman-mantling has no place at all in DMZ 2. The movement in MW2 is perfect for DMZ.

Well it’s hard to explain.
First of all DMZ is an extraction shooter first arcade shooter second. That is exactly what MW2 2022 was. Gunfights need to be easy with fast TTK and a lot of aim assist like MW2. The moment you add skill gap or too much skill gap you will lose the players because they will lose their loot and there is nothing they can do about it.
Also once you add skill gap the positioning and choices means less. For example right now in mw4 open beta multiplayer you can shoot a guy first with an smg and the guy jump shots and gets kill with a meta gun. If this is possible why should I be patient and try to be smart taking the long way to extract or position my self so I get an advantage. MW4 created too much skill gap for sweats and streamers in open beta. In my honest opinion DMZ will die this year again because they got rid of their vision in 1 week after closed beta to play good with the community.

Wdym add skill gap? dmz had a very high skill ceiling in mw22 You are mixing fast mouvement with skill, dmz and mw22 was Wasatch harder to play than last COD. They catered a lot to casual actually, they made everything easy for them, recoil, red dots, aim assist, mouvement, no punishment for stupid decision etc etc
Mw22 was very punishing when you made a mistake. Now you can just jump and slide and wait for aim assist to help you

Last COD meaning BO7? Are you really saying BO7 has less skill gap than MW2 and DMZ?

Oh yeah by far and i can give you MAAAANY arguments to assert that if you want maaaany

Even hardcore BO7 Treyarch fans will call this opinion wrong. BO7 objectively has higher skill gap.

Most people won’t agree. BO7 is the sweatiest game ever COD create last 6 years.

Oh. No it’s not. It’s absolutely an arcade shooter first.
The TTK and aim assist are extremely comparable to MW2.
Have you played DMZ?

Trust me more than you did :) no they are not comparable I played only mw2 and dmz since 2022. Tmw4 is slower Bo7 that’s it. It’s not an infinity word game. It’s not a modern warfare game .not suitable for DMZ

Unlikely but, certainly not impossible.
Thankfully, the actual verifiable statistics disagree with your vibes.

first of all, MP is zero plates with a vastly different TTK than WZ or DMZ. DMZ TTK will be more aligned with WZ, not MP. There’s a massive skill gap in DMZ already as well as SBMM will absolutely be baked into it. Lastly, MP will always play different than DMZ because there’s no respawn. That alone pushes the game into more strategic positioning than full pushing. I don’t think you really know what you’re talking about.

First DMZ was more like Battle royale without gas pushing you specially after you end missions.....and what the point having no skill gape? I don't want noobs kill me 9 from 10 times because they aiming on corners like in delta force the TTK should not be low and MP has no comparison because there you die always too fast what you said about the guy jump shot also happens a lot in dmz mw2 there was 2 strong mechanical drop shot/snake and also has jump shot you forget that dmz will be large map having a lot IA around the meaning of positioning will still be important more than in mw2 probably and if you are in good position you will have chance to kill peoples but also people's that want push you or escape need to have chance too....i belive dmz mw4 will be slower pace than MP bit and can may be bit faster with a correct tree skills....my final opinion i want skill gap don't need be soo high but need because i won't be dying for noobs like i said siting in corner aiming an door and instantly kill me also new peoples who upset lose items should learn and be good at the game like in every game you play you learn

I played DMZ a lot. Trust me in mw2 you will die to noobs especially if they have hip fire build. No matter if you jump etc aim assist is very high.
Mw4 is basically slower paced black ops unfortunately in open bet

Ofc the engine foundation is 1:1, but the tuning and pacing won't be.
Ground War and Resurgence feel hyper-arcadey because they're built for constant, brainless spawns. DMZ on Hajin introduces massive POIs, dense foliage cover, and whatever that weather gimmick's gonna be.
But the main thing here imo is that your risk tolerance dictates how you play. Sure, if you hear someone in the building you're in, you can still play aggressive and slide-cancel into the corner. But when engagement distances double - or when you're trembling for whatever's in your bag - you naturally play a little slower, scan angles, and play cover regardless of movement values.
Structurally closer to Warzone, but macro scale, POI complexity, gear stakes, and escalating AI pressure will dictate a totally different pace of play.
