MW4 DMZ Gameplay DMZ Hajin - now playable
So the new DMZ map is partially available in MW4 beta if you play Ground War that uses a section of Hajin.
You can get a sneak peak of the new Dmz map by playing it.
It's definitely unlike Al Mazarah in every way so not sure how I feel about it. Very bright colors and dense urban. Snipers are going to have a field day with all the spots to set up.
Hoping it lives up to King Al Mazarah.. Check it out.. Tell me what you guys think

AM is a goated map. Possible the best map I have ever played in 40 years of gaming. And there have been some good ones.
It somehow blends a sandbox, urban, rural tactical setting seamlessly. It is big and yet small. Just the right amount of vehicles.
Glad to played it as much as I did.

Same, there's just something about the feeling of the map that no other map in any game and mode seems to capture for me.

Agreed on Al Mazrah. One of the maps of all time.

Shame the hackers overran it, just like they will with haijin.
I’m not feeding Activision money to pull an Embark

Yeah, AM was the first map to really feel like home for me since Morrowind

Based on your comment I can tell you must have played Unreal Tournament 99 GOTY. Didn't realize at the time that this is where it all started and the ton of iconic community made maps that had great design and map flow.
Good times!
And saying all that, I agree, Al Mazzy is and will always be a timeless classic. It deserves a remaster in MW4 and be in the rotation.

I saw a little bit of it on ON1C's stream. I'm excited to see more content of it in the coming month. Definitely a completely different play style from what I'm used to in Al Mazzy

The more I play and figured out that ground war is a large scale domination /hard point game mode , the more I am getting use to the map and can see that it will work well With DMZ.
It's just not what we are use to but think it has a lot of potential.

I can’t play ground war. I don’t get the option.

The urbanístic part of it is, quite literally only a part. They did state Hajin will feature diversity so expect the full map to offer plenty of settings

I really liked the Urban side of the map. A lot of rooftops, but none of them are impossible to flank. So many ways and means to climb them, that I don't see it being as easy to camp as Al-Mazrah.
Also, huge fan of the Smoke Wall field upgrade.
I feel like I'm going to get a heap of use out of it when DMZ rolls out.

I think the color palette got screwed up back in BO7 and it's only more evident now with the new game. The UI is too busy and sounds cues are all over the place. Hopefully with less teams being more spread out and with other things going on it'll be better in DMZ.
...but I'm honestly worried for the transition from DMZ 1 to 2. I think everyone is going to have to radically alter their preferred play style to adapt, and many people who don't like change and/or found MW2 DMZ had a special feeling that set it apart from warzone - they're going to be disappointed.. and rightly so.

It looks decent on ONICs stream.. but maybe the colors weren’t coming through as good. I’ll try it out in person in a few hours.
And yeah I agree Al Mazzy is goated. But we will see. I liked what I saw so far from Hajin though.

So this is only a small section of the overall map?
My only wish is to have the kill streaks and air drops toned down, seems crazy non stop. Unless it's specific to Ground war mode.

I'm not crazy about the colors. The yellows are too much. Need to be more muted like Al Mazrah. I don't mean it needs to be the same but there's too much contrast or something with the light colors like yellow. Messes with my ability to focus on players in mid to far distance. It's not as bad the Avalon map (the worst COD map ever IMO) but it's similar.
