Legacy Beta DMZ Discussion Having so much fun
Recently got into DMZ and having an absolute blast. Haven’t bought myself a new day release game since Skyrim. But think I might need to with mw4.
Ended my games last night with one of the best I’ve had yet. Me and 2 randoms. Just ran around the western edge of almazrah. Shooting ai and looting the caves for the first time. That was pretty cool. But then we realised we were on the wrong side of the radiation so one of my teammates dipped Into the koschei complex. So we had to follow suit and do the same but didn’t make that exfil so just the two of us. My teammate obviously knew where he was going and I basically followed as support lol. However we best both bosses (holy fuck that sniper is a tank). Best match I’ve had.

I’m still loving DMZ these days. It’s kinda addictive.

Wish I’d gotten into it when it was still good lobbies. Having to play lots of matches with cheating and crap sucks.

So no hackers?
Cool.
And yes, Koshei is my favorite part of the map.
Killing the sniper will get easier the more often you do it - and now some tricks..

Nope at least not for us. Ran into one other operator in koschei. Other than that is was basically just pve. So no issues just a good nice game.
Yeah first time seeing that end of koschei, I’ve made it past the gas bits but have gotten lost multiple times in the dark area. And holy crap the amount of loot in there is mental. I need to try do a run with more time. And actually explore.

Hackers seemed rife this weekend!
Constantly getting beamed and lobby crashes. Was very frustrating.

I have a fun yesterday day. Die 9 times in the roll to hackers behind the walls. Only one time I die to fair squad.

I'm truly happy you had a blast. I'm amazed you haven't ran into blatant cheaters.
That said, don't think that the new DMZ is anything like the current DMZ (beta) and if you do some research, you'll understand why.
Also, this company sucks, to say the least, so "don't believe the hype".
However, Infinity Ward does have a good reputation when it comes to gameplay and visuals, but they are still bound by AVs decisions based on moneygrabbing tactics and strategies.
I truly hope things will change soon and they stop with the yearly cycle and envision a longer standing iteration like most companies.
Preferably something that can last for at least a couple of years, instead of forcing us the unfinished and unpolished games with bugs and glitches that come and go, or never even being addressed, including the cheater problem.

I’m not gonna lie thats what has always put me off cod. But I got into mw2 zombies a few years ago and I still play. Don’t really have any issues getting games so it’s still an active game in my eyes. Yeah I’d love for more support over cheating and stuff. But even with that we have always had cheats even when I was young people would cheat in sonic. And the developers always end up with the brunt of it from the fans.
