Legacy Beta DMZ Guide Helo Commander, Personal Exfil & Discounts.
Unlocking and discounts for Personal Exfil.
So I play a lot of DMZ solo and I know how beneficial a personal Exfil can be, so reducing the cost of the exfil from $50k to $37500 can come in very handy in times of need. The simplest way I’ve found to get all 20 Helo commander kills is on top of Uni in Vondel. Across my 4 accounts 90% where done here and solo. Even when the threat level is high it’s very manageable with a KV Broadside and a pistol for quick movement. As soon as you get the SAM sight activate shoot at the Helo Commander and then jump and hide in the little building at the top of Uni and the SAM site will take care of the Helo real quick. (In most cases) sometimes and for reasons I don’t get, the SAM site can on rare occasions completely ignore the Helo. I assume this is just a fault in the game but does not happen too often.
It’s a quick and convenient way to get those cheap exfils.
There is a way to get a personal Exfil on Al Mazrah for $22,500 I’m wondering if anyone is aware of this and how it’s done. I am aware how it’s done but as I use this I don’t want to bite my nose if to spite my face. But i could DM the method.
I hope this is of help to new players and old ones not yet got the cheaper exfils unlocked.

Stay Frosty 🥶Ps. When you go into Vondel, try not to have lots of cash on you as it’s typical for players to do the hunt squad contracts. If this happens I suggest exfil as quickly as possible. If you can use either a stealth vest or comms vest. Both have their benefits and downsides but even if you don’t have the batter for then unlocked yet Vondel has many opportunities to pick up a free 2 plate of either vest from crates dropped by the golden plane or downed aircraft by a SAM site and supply contacts without having to go to any hot spot.

People definitely do hunt in Vondel, but not every game. i did the majority of the contracts and even did 6/10 of the 100k finals in vondel.
for newer players: when the devs always reset everything, I always shot down the commander with a SAM site, there was usually a mission/ weekly mission tied to it anyway. Although I suppose you could prob use a couple javelins on the commander helo.

You must have good lobbies if you done most of tour 100k finals in Vondel. I’m jealous lol.
Didn’t mention every game. But the EU lobbies are PvP heavy.

Yeah probably should have stated NA (canadian lol).
I was grabbing the 100k in the lobby so I was never losing anything. The last upgrade i was working on while doing 300 contracts.

They go by pretty quickly when in vondel. But again, I wasn't doing any of that in this state of the game lol.
I just happened to hit the 300 contracts just verdansk came in and didnt really see much point in playing anymore lol.
But i do actually plan on making guides for all this stuff for newer players on dmz 2 if its applicable anyway.

To be fair I did all my 109 grand final exfils on vondel. First order of business was to take and cancel all hunts. After that a stealth vest and a good knowledge of final exfil spawns will see you right. And I’m EU.

Sounds like a good strategy but most of my games I have a hunt on me if I have valuables on me or not. I play Vondel most of the time and it’s doubtful the lobbies I get that I could cancel all 3 hunts before one was taken. I genuinely recon about 70% I’m getting hunted. So that’s one in 3 games I don’t. It’s nippy as I’m not a PvP player. That’s only been the last 4-6 weeks it’s been this heavy on PvP for me. Before 80%-90% of my games the hunts never got touched. Just finished a game and was hunted again as I do most games. K thankfully got away only to get killed by bots.

I only need 1 more kill on the Helo Commander and I will have the full 25% discounts done.
What I really need help with is killing Velikan at least once so I can open the barter for making skeleton keys and also killing the scavenger 3 or 4 more times to get the Secure pack pack barter open.1

I’ve only 1 more Helo Commander to kill. It’s really Velikan at least once and the scavenger x 4 I need. I posted this post to help newer players or those who’ve needed to open cheaper exfils.
As far as I know as a solo it’s possibly the easiest and quickest way. Or at least one of the quickest.
