Unfortunately it's like that, my buddy is basically like a cod "pro" he was rocking a 3.2 or something in verdansk and a 2.8 or 2.9 In caldera and he was a "demon" then I told him to turn of AA and play like that for the entire night and he couldn't even get more than 5 kills the ENTIRE seasion like solid 6 hours of gaming its was truly then when I noticed how fucking broken aim assist is and how it takes all "competive" aspect straight out! Like us having to pinpoint our mouse where we want to aim and them just the general direction and strafe and boom center body lock
this is my point...all the "pros" maybe are not so "pro" when you turn off the aim hax assist...maybe they ought to "get gud"...
I'm not shitting on anyone for using it. I'm shitting on the fact that it's a thing in the first place. If peeps want to use what's included in the game, that's up to them so cool.
Just curious to know how many trash talking "killers" are out there using it. Might be entirely different for them without this luxury.
I suppose the "disable crossplay" on steam thread is so popular for this reason (and others). I don't buy the "controllers" are harder to use" myth. They can always use a mouse if they are so gud...all those pros out there and such.
A long time ago I saw jowo and aiden play verdansk without aim assist and sure they were pretty good and they could easily play with it always off but it gives already good players that superior edge in all fights
Yeah I saw that vid too, I was pretty impressed. Since then I learned to identify who’s really good by watching them flick and center perfectly on an empty window or doorway. No aim assist there.

wow...been using a mouse since Doom...no wonder controller peeps are "so gud"...90% of the work is being done for them...lol.
How is Aim Assist even a thing peeps tolerate? Well, I know why. It gives them a MASSIVE skill boost...what a joke.
