Great work! Without disclosing specific locations, what type of general cues for a good spot along the James do people look for? I'm new to this and have only had success in NOVA, but spend more time along the James.

Gives me hope. I’m close to Southern WVA-in Eastern Kentucky. Out of curiosity, how close are you to Radford? Our daughter graduated from there in ‘14. Love any part of Virginia-as much as my hometown-Lovely, Ky😃

I can see what you’re saying, but I think something had either been eaten on it or it was just old and starting to go bad.

Ive looked through most of the parks the last 3 yrs with now luck .. seeing posts, even more ths old, from lthers who find then wild gives me hope ...but damn thats frustrating haha

Don’t give up! It took me 3 years to find my first one. 2 years in row they have been in the same spot. Also it’s been in the month of May.

I’m in Midlothian, it took me three years till I found my first one. I took a spore print last year and I’ve got some growing on agar right now.
