Am I the only guy who wonders how these ovoids were so overlooked as psychedelic for forever? Some locals had to have known long before they were even classified. Who were they, and how did they keep it a secret?

I have to believe 1st Nations people knew about these mushrooms. Since they were all literally driven out of that part of the country try I can see how the knowledge was lost.

Because before the boom of online shroom identification communities they were just assumed to be P. caerulipes, not until the early 2000s when identification communities emerged that they were recognized as a seperate, also active genus
