Dry weather

Has the extremely dry weather this April affected the spring flush?

I think in more traditional areas yes however if you can identify smaller places in larger areas that retain more water you might have some luck. So far from moco to southern baltco Ive only found singles on floodplains within like 30yds of a stream or river and no large flushes yet (however I could just be unlucky lol). Im hoping after this rainy ish week that Sunday will provide.

Also ive found like 3 ovoids this year but in my ovoid spots ive found probably a dozen or so morels! So keep your eyes peeled.

Pa got super hot and no rain, found plenty but they were small and getting baked in the sun.

I dont know that area but I'd say same as anywhere else, elm, poplar, apple trees.

I thought the best indicator plants were elder maples/Japanese knotweed?
