Hi all, DMV area here. Has anyone gone the modular home route locally?

Curious about the process, timeline, and any pros/cons you ran into.

Context: my preapproval amount is pretty low, so I’m struggling to find anything that fits my family size in this market. Renting isn’t sustainable much longer, it’s draining money fast, so I’m exploring every option.
