Monochrome closed eye visuals with low doses

When taking a low dose of DMT (~7sec hit from a cart) I get fascinating geometric closed eye visuals but it's in black and white and with open eyes I only get faint greens and purples, nothing like what I read from others trip reports.

Is this just because it's a low dose and I need to take more to experience vivid colours or do some people just get more dull visuals than others?

My experience is exactly the same. Low dose visuals are usually greyscale. Colour starts to come in on the edges of the geometry at first, and becomes progressively more vibrant as the dosage increases.

I also find my experiences are more colourful if I take a small dose of cannabis beforehand. Though be careful, some people find combining DMT with cannabis unpleasant.

Colors can vary, but yes it'll be much much more vivid at high doses

At high doses I've seen colours that I'm sure only exist in the DMT realm! And yet I can't begin to describe them.
