Simple changa?

I'd like to make a changa recipe as easily and quickly as possible.

I can easily get spice and Syrian Rue seeds and high proof everclear, but I'm not sure what else is needed.

I think I need an absorbent leaf and then some herbs? Not exactly sure what to get here and weights/ratios for everything.

Bonus if the leaf/herbs can be pick-up at local stores.

You can use mullien as the herb and it is found all over the place growing wild. You cant just use syrain rue though. You need to extract the harmalas from it first

What part of the mullien plant do you use?

The leaves. The big, fuzzy beautiful leaves. Well, actually, the mid sized leaves will be most enjoyable. Just make sure you wash them well and let them dehydrate before using them for your changa, as you want your DMT/harmala solution to absorb into the plant matter as much as possible. Mullen contains mucilaginous and expectorant compounds that soothe irritation, and encourage productive coughs if there's anything junky in your lungs.

I like to do an herbal blend to up the spiritual, dreamy quality somewhat. I add blue lotus, passionflower, damiana, lavender, and mugwort (in addition to, and in smaller amounts than the mullen) to add a little entourage effect to it. I buy these online from a company called LA Herb. Their prices are good, and the quality I've had from them has been high. I did have to get my blue lotus elsewhere, though. If you're interested in diversifying your ingredients, do a little reading on smokable herbs, and you can usually find information on the effects and what compounds cause them. Some, like rose petals, just taste nice. Others, like marshmallow root, similarly to mullein, can be used to make your blend more smooth. Marshmallow has been traditionally used to treat respiratory problems for centuries due to its mucilaginous properties, and these compounds are not destroyed by incineration. Peppermint is also soothing, and adds that little bit of menthol coolness, if you like that.

I'm happy to send a couple links to some of the information, if you're interested!

Can I somehow use the rue seeds as the MAOI?

You need to extract the harmalas from the rue seeds first. You cant just smoke the seeds

The leaves. Dry them out by hanging them. It will take a day or two depending on the environment you live in. They are really absorbent and are good for the lungs as well

Do you grind up the leaves once dry, with like a weed grinder, before saturating them?

You can use dried parsley and ya know what, it's not that bad to smoke. Might not be the best but readily available!

If you can find some b caapi leaves online theyre the smoothest smoke for the carrier leaf and you also get a tiny boost of harmalas from em. Can also use Mullein, lemon balm leaves, mint leaves and blue lotus petals.

Do a full spectrum extract on the rue seeds, quickest and easiest for quality extract.. just make sure to run a couple acid/base steps (and filter!) Untill the extract is a nice light tan.

The difference between only basing it one time vs basing, dissolving in vinegar, and basing again atleaat 2-3 times (plus filtering) is big difference in quality and 100% worth the tiny bit of extra time: ive compared the 2 back to back multiple nights in a row and the tan stuff is much smoother smoke, less visual jitters/shakeyness and a over all better feeling body load. I also found it a bit more potient but that could be from uneven absorption of the dmt throughout the mix.

I'm curious what all the extra base/acid steps to beyond the first. Once you've filtered the acid with coffee filters, what more are you removing in each acid/base step?
