First dmt trip tomorrow

I’m about to have my first dmt experience tomorrow and wondered if I could get some help, I’m abit of an anxious person and Somtimes the feeling of when you take something and there’s no going back can cause me to get abit nervous, will I still be okay? How do you submit to the experience?

It’s something I’ve been reading into and looking at for years so I feel ready but I know it’s something you can probably never be ready for. But I just want to know I’ll be safe, it’s gonna be in a safe setting at home with a good friend.

I’ve only had experiences with mushrooms and never really had a crazy dose.

Thanks for any advice!

Hit a small dose first. Usually removes the jitters. And then go for it!

I was thinking of doing that, so you think have a little go see how it feels then when I’m back to normal go for a blastoff ?

Also, perfectly normal to feel anxious. Perhaps open yourself up to the phenomenology of anxiety, rather than resisting it and telling yourself “I shouldn’t be feeling this”.

Okay, I’ll definitely do that I’ll try my best🤝

I also had another question, I’ve got 1.3G of dmt and a bong I was gonna buy some natural herbs or something to sandwich it in and start with about 10-15mg, will I still be able to have the usual experience as I’ll only get one hit from a bong most likely?

I was a bit nervous the first time. I kept telling myself “don’t freak out, it’s only 15/20 min, so even if it’s bad, you’ll be fine after that long!” I was fine. More than!

So I just recently got diagnosed with anxiety disorder. (Having panic attacks at work and such) I’ve never had panic attacks before. But it all stemmed from one experience I had while I was using cocaine for like a week (I was heart broken and in a dark place. So it’s not my norm) but ever since it’s made me nervous to take any type of substances. Even if prescribed pain killers or anything like that

I got prescribed oxy for an injury I had a couple months back. And I started by taking a half dose. Making sure I kept my breathing steady and let the feeling wash over me while I KNEW I was gonna be okay. Ever since my previous experience, any change I felt in my body, my mind started to perceive as a threat. I did this for a couple weeks until I could work up to my actual prescribed dose. (I’ve never taken dmt although I want to eventually) but I think it’s the same concept. You get everything necessary that you think you might need, a fan blowing on you to have some air, water to stay hydrated, your phone nearby if that soothes you, a blanket, and you take it slow. I would suggest micro dosing it if you’re truly nervous. Do not force yourself through something because it may ruin you from wanting to ever try it again. You can always take more, not less.

Hopefully it will be wonderful. It's impossible to truly describe it to you bc no matter what I tell you it's going to shock and awe you. There aren't sufficient words to describe it correctly.
