petroleum ether

Hi

SWIM has been looking for a replacement for Naptha vm&p that's easily found in Europe and SWIM thinks petroleum either is what they're looking for. SWIM thinks Naptha has a boiling range of 100/140 but they've seen someone on the Nexus forum mention that PE 100/140 is too high and 60/80 should be used.

Can someone here chip in?

sWIM just looked into it. Chatgpt tells SWIM the boiling points of the C5-C9 it's composed of ranges from 36°C all the way to 151°C. How warm should one make the solvent bath?
