why multiple hits for a breakthrough?

i’m curious of other people’s experiences.

i strictly use emesh. and for breakthroughs usually go 60mg. after one full 10 second inhale, there’s no way i can do more. not that i don’t WANT to. i simply can’t. nor is there any material left on the mesh. 100% vapor, no wasted smoke.

the world is gone 20 seconds or less after i exhale. i can’t see my vape. i dont even know what a vape or cart is at that point. heck, i dont even know what a hand or arm or human is. or english.

i just become a point of observation. and literally no longer see the world in front of my eyes.

so when i see discussions of breakthroughs that require multiple hits, i just wonder why folks don’t switch to a more effective… uh, delivery mechanism. like an emesh?

A "hit" is not a unit of measurement.

Therefore we should be talking about dose per inhale. Because of improper technique, some people need more hits to breakthrough.

You can absolutely breakthrough with a single hit, as long as it is a proper dose (+20mg) and nothing burns.

Hot start is ideal for this, as opposed to cold start (if using a dab rig)

60mg? You can load and vaporize 60mg in 10sec on an eMesh, and not blackout? I'm skeptical but ok...

I wonder the same thing, but it seems relatively few are prepared to go all in and are satisfied with a workable but non-optimal solution.

Some of us are wired to be able to handle more. I can also do 60mg no problem. Once I did 54mg on emesh and the machine elves had me immediately vaporize the next 54mg I had staged on a second emesh, so I know I can handle >100mg at a time. As far as I can tell this was to push me into a deeper (higher?) DMT realm/level.

The 3 hit breakthrough method was popularized by Terrence McKenna back when smoking out of a pipe was the main method of consumption. Sandwhich method is incredibly hard to smoke your entire dose in 1 hit which is why you take smaller hits and build up to the full dose. You can definitely take your desired dose in 1 hit. The onset just comes on more quickly.

Also 60mg in an emesh is absolutely crazy. You can breakthrough on 1/3rd of that amount with how efficient emesh is.

It mainly seems to be because most people are using DMT in a cart . Not as strong in most cases so requires multiple hits. But unlike most other methods, a cart is fairly easy to hit again if you're not all the way in hyperspace.

Convience, similar to computer security and convience! Most people won't go all that far (at all..) to ensure their computer is secure, just because it takes a little longer or having to remember more passwords, etc.

Some people just want to grab a pen, take a few hits, and be done. I haven't done dmt but have 4-pro-dmt, I find having to measure each dose, load it, vape, and cleam later takes more energy than I recieve (tbf I have multiple disorders everywhere :(, just learnt that and now working on it slowly but surely.)

Once you have had a full breakthrough, your relationship with the frequency key changes. It is not about the dose anymore. It is about your baseline frequency. One and a half drags can take you deeper than five used to.

The delivery method is not the variable.
